Amrosi D. Bansao was educated at the Bulacan State University where he obtained his Doctorate degree in Public Administration in June 1, 2013. He earned his Master’s degree in Public Administration from Mindanao State University in 2004 and Bachelor of laws at the University of the East in 1996. He also finished his Bachelor of Arts at Saint Michael’s College in 1984. He has written two books entitled “Politics and Governance with the postulate of the 1987 Constitution” and “The Corporation Code of the Philippines” (Batas Pambansa Blg. 68, 2013 edition).
Dr. Bansao was the Guest Speaker during the State of the Nation Address (SONA) of President Rodrigo R. Duterte at Channel 36 (CLTV36), Jose Abad Santos Avenue, San Fernando City, Pampanga, last July 25, 2016. He was also a Resource Person for Gender Awareness, Human Rights at Bulacan State University, Hiyas Convention Center, Malolos City, in August 10, 2015. He teaches at the College of Saint Lawrence, Balagtas, Bulacan and Bulacan State University handling Business Law such as: The Law on Sales, Obligations and contracts, Partnership, Corporation and Negotiable Instruments Law. He is also a former Professor at the Jesus Is Lord Colleges Foundation, Bocaue, Bulacan.
The author is the incumbent National Chairman of the Filipino Muslim Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Philippine and likewise former President of the Professional Public Administration Society (PRO-PAS) and also Vice-President of the Graduate Studies Student Council (GSSC) of the Graduate Studies, Bulacan State University.
The author is an Associate of E.B. Generoso Law Firm and Chief Executive Officer of the Bansao Consultancy Services. He’s also a reviewer at the College of Saint Lawrence and Special Lecturer in different Colleges and State Universities.
Bansao served as Legislative Staff Officer 1V of the Regional Legislative Assembly-Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao from 2005 until 2006 and former Chief for the Project Development Division of the Department of Education in September 1, 2003. After having served his contract of employment with Dep-Ed, he used to work as an Attorney 11 of the Department of Transportation and Communication and former Legal Officer 11 at the Land Transportation Office in May 28, 2002. He also served as Confidential Agent of the National Bureau of Investigation (Civilian Agent) and former Legal Officer V of the National Police Commission in the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao.
Prior to his appointment as Legal Officer V, the author likewise served the Philippine Senate as Consultant on Muslim Affairs in 1997 and also Private Secretary of his late brother Assemblyman Rakil Dagalangit of the defunct Batasang Pampook in Region X11, representing the people of the province of Lanao Del Sur during the Marcos regime in 1982 until President Cory Aquino assumed the presidency in 1987.
From 1980 until 1984, the author was elected Kabataang Barangay Federation President with an equivalent rank of Councilor in the Municipality of Lumba-Bayabao, Lanao Del Sur of the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao.
The author was the recipient of the Multi-Awards recognition given by the Councilors' League of the Philippines as most outstanding Councilor in view of his outstanding contribution in the attainment of peace, progress and development of the Philippines in 1984.
Dr. Bansao was commended by the Graduate School-Bulacan State University during its commencement exercises in June 1, 2013 as “LEADERSHIP AWARDEE” in grateful recognition of his leadership skills manifested by his steadfast service in steering the organizations he has faithfully led in various positions and capacities with meritorious distinction. Most of his friends and relatives fondly called him Bruce.
